For the past week, it's been really stressful. Finals and tests are coming up and I always get this huge pressure from my parents and family. The fact that sometimes I don't normally receive a lot of encouragement from home. Sometimes the only "motivation" I would get from home would be: "If you don't do good, you'll stay behind." "Everyone will be gone because if you fail, you can't graduate". Even when I tell them that I'm trying my best, but sometimes that doesn't cut it. This I believe happens to a lot of Eastern countries. The rules and expectations are always strict. I read an article on Facebook about how this huge pressure to do good at school can affect students very badly. Check it out:

The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever
For a while now, I've been a BTS fan. If those of you don't know who BTS is, they're a K-pop group. I really enjoy their music because I feel that their music is very meaningful. What makes this band so unique is that their songs incorporate love ballads and hip-hop that talk about the struggles of many youths. Since their debut in 2013, they had many series that focused on many topics like bullying and rejecting social ideals. Since 2015 they have been working on a series focusing on "youth". Their 1st album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Part 1, talked about how it was hard to be young and that younger people are "always on edge" (Rap Monster). I Need You was their main song for the album during the video, it showed many struggles that the members (who are portraying the youth) had to go through like drug overdose, murder, and suicide attempts. They released their second album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Part 2, with their hit song Run and their final album on May 2nd, 2016 called The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever. They're truly amazing and just by reading their lyrics I felt the message that they were trying to send to their fans. Because this site is about social pressure, I believe that these songs really go well with this topic.

For those who have already watched it, what was your first reaction? What did you think of it? Did you know the meaning of the song?

It's very interesting these days about society. We ourselves live in a world where our actions and behaviors are influenced by others whether it's indirect and direct or through social media. Here's another article:
Especially in other countries, victims of social pressure are being harmed everyday internally and physically. It's kinda sad to see these things happening around us that we don't even notice about it. What do you think? Please commnent!

Introduction
Hi, everyone! Welcome to my blog!
Introduction: Last semester of the school year, before winter break, my class and I have researched about social issues within our society. At the end of the semester we presented our issues to one another by posing our arguments into different items like a scrapbook, binder, or portfolios. This year, we are working on spreading our ideas to the real world. For me, that is the purpose of this blog. As obvious as the title of this site is, my issue is about social pressure within our communities. Soon I will be posting discussions, articles, surveys, and everyday (almost) experiences I personally have as a student with social pressure. Thank you and see you soon!
